The group "tunnel19" is a guest at Kunstquartier Bethanien for the fourth time. The works of the ten artists engage in different ways with the challenge of presenting one and the same project both on the wall or in the space and in the form of a book. Sometimes the book takes center stage as the artwork, with images or individual pages from it shown on the wall; sometimes the exhibited images are the central work, while the book serves more as its documentation. The printed publications come in a range of formats — from the one-of-a-kind artist's book through zine, leporello and loose-leaf collection to classic books in small editions. All of them appear under the imprint EDITION tunnel19.

For visitors interested in the art form of the photobook, the book talk with Wolfgang Zurborn on 13 September at 3 p.m. is definitely a highlight. But there are opportunities to delve deeper into the exhibition at other times too: the artists are all present on weekends, and during the week they take turns staffing the show.
