Hello, new students! Free admission, live music and programme.

On Thursday 8 October, the Barberini Museum is once again hosting a get-together from 5 pm to 10 pm, with extended opening hours and free admission – exclusively for students of all disciplines from universities and colleges, as well as apprentices from Berlin and Potsdam.

The programme:

  • 5.00 pm–10.00 pm: DJ sets by Miszo & Ceyda
  • 5.00 pm–10.00 pm: Paint & Talk with the Barberini Art Club
  • 6.30–7.00 pm: Young Curators Talk with Julia Keinath: Paul Signac. Symphony of Colours
  • 7.00–8.00 pm: Interconnected Senses – How synaesthesia influences our view of art and the world with Maike Preißing
  • 8.00 pm–8.30 pm: Slow Art Tours with the Barberini Art Club

The Barberini Get-together combines art history with the present day, creating a space for exchange, encounters and new perspectives. The starting point is the current exhibition ‘Symphony of Colours: Paul Signac and Neo-Impressionism’, from which various themes will be explored.

  • To gain entry, you’ll need a free admission ticket (€0 ticket). You can book this online or collect it from the ticket office on the day of the event. Admission is granted upon presentation of your student or trainee ID.
