DJ Westbam is THE pioneer of techno and rave culture in Germany.
He is regarded as one of the most influential artists of his generation and is a co-founder of the Berlin Techno sound, as well as the initiator of famous events such as ‘Mayday’ and the ‘Love Parade’. With hits such as ‘Celebration Generation’, ‘Sonic Empire’ and ‘Beatbox Rocker’, he has shaped club culture worldwide.
Festival of Lights in Concert 2026
From 13 to 17 October 2026, Alle Farben, Klangkarussell, Westbam, Anja Schneider, Chris Bekker and Ukãi Ndame will showcase a completely different side – away from their club sets, delving deep into ambient and atmospheric sounds. Festival of Lights in Concert: When light speaks the language of emotions and music carries through the walls like a living heartbeat, something extraordinary emerges: an immersive total work of art as part of the internationally acclaimed Festival of Lights Berlin.
