With Aso Agace, Kook-Nam Cho-Ruwwe, Elisabeth Kimmerle and Serpil Yeter
Starting in the 1970s, the bodies of migrant women in particular became the focal point of racist debates. In Kreuzberg and West Berlin, migrant women from diverse backgrounds and social classes therefore joined forces to fight for an independent right of residence, political participation, and gender equality.

Moderated by Elisabeth Kimmerle, this panel discussion with Aso Agace, Kook-Nam Cho-Ruwwe, and Serpil Yeter explores these networks and forms of self-organization. The discussion will focus in particular on artistic and political strategies and their legacy for contemporary migrant-feminist struggles.
