Pop-up Exhibition and Discussion Marking the Donation to the Kupferstichkabinett
To mark the donation, the Kupferstichkabinett is presenting the works in a pop-up exhibition in the study room.
In a conversation with the artist, art historian Dávid Fehér (Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest) and curator Nóra Lukács (Kupferstichkabinett, Berlin) will explore Lakner’s multifaceted artistic oeuvre, which ranges from conceptual, representational, and photorealistic works to gestural-abstract pieces.
Afterward, until 7:30 p.m., there will be an opportunity to view the exhibition in the study hall and enjoy a social gathering in the foyer of the Kupferstichkabinett.
Speakers: László Lakner; Dr. Dávid Fehér, Director of KEMKI (Central European Research Institute for Art History) at the Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest; Dr. Nóra Lukács, Curator of Contemporary Art at the Kupferstichkabinett
In collaboration with the Collegium Hungaricum Berlin.
