Psychic Liberation (PL) is a label founded in 2013 that originally operated as a cassette and record store project in New York City under the name Primitive Languages. Since 2019, it has been run solo by Nick Klein from the EU under the name Psychic Liberation. The concert series of the same name at the Kuppelhalle features a rotating lineup of guests.

Horse Lords
Horse Lords were formed in Baltimore in 2010 and emerged from the experimental collective Teeth Mountain. The band began as a trio with Sam Haberman (drums), Owen Gardner (guitar), and Max Eilbacher (bass); shortly thereafter, alto saxophonist Andrew Bernstein joined the group. Although they hail from Baltimore’s noise and left-field rock scene, their approach is significantly more versatile.

The work of Audrey Chen and Nick Klein unfolds as catalytic improvisational exercises at the intersection of extreme sonic contrasts, as they play with the connections between organic and inorganic sound material and its dynamics.
