Based on the exhibition “Many Shades of Grès—Fashion Becomes Art,” the discussion explores how body ideals and the perception of fashion have changed over time.
The focus is on questions regarding social and gender-specific influences, the language used to discuss bodies and clothing, and the role of advertising.
