Dora’s sparse, tension-filled guitar playing and her expressive singing explore intimacy as a source of renewal for capitalist democracies that are increasingly embroiled in armed conflicts and undermined by commercialized surveillance technology. Her poetry moves between the tonal and the atonal, shifting between silence, distorted tones, and fragmented narrative time. Zone Nulls enriches their shared terrain with its “sonic fiction,” which ranges from musique concrète to contemporary composition, experimental improvisation, and electronic sounds, all the way to post-punk and avant-garde rock.

Their performance is a real-time process: the composition emerges in the moment it is heard. Decisions become audible, transitions remain fluid, and the unpredictable becomes a constitutive element.
