History and Stories
Myths and fairy tales surround the trunks of beech, oak, yew, and other tree species. Some bark is used for healing, some fruits for food, and some wood for construction and fuel. Through biological facts and traditional stories, you’ll explore some of the leafy giants of the Botanical Garden.
A botanical storytelling walk with biologist Regine Illner and storyteller and literary scholar Neele Illner.
