Yet this path wasn’t necessarily a foregone conclusion for Anthony Vasquez, as he’s known by his real name. His parents didn’t play any instruments; he discovered his passion for music—and singing in particular—on his own at an early age. Shortly after beginning his music studies, he was offered the chance to work for the renowned British producer Nellee Hooper. He went on to establish himself as a producer, opened a studio, and collaborated with top-tier artists such as Nick Jonas, Wiz Khalifa, and Julia Michaels.
