Classical Music in Grünau: Musical Encounters—From Bach to Ligeti

Anqi Lai, born in China in 2004, began her musical training at the music school of the Xinghai Conservatory in Guangzhou, where she studied violin from 2016 to 2022 under, among others, Professor Wei Lu, concertmaster of the German Symphony Orchestra Berlin.

Concert engagements have already taken her to renowned concert halls such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts, the National Taichung Theater, the Xinghai Concert Hall, the Shenzhen Concert Hall, and the Chengdu City Concert Hall.

Yuna Dierstein was born in 2007 into a family of musicians, where she began her first cello lessons at the age of 4.

After several semesters at the Freiburg University of Music, she has been studying with Prof. Jens-Peter Maintz at the Berlin University of the Arts since the winter semester of 2025; she is also a scholarship recipient of the International Music Academy of Liechtenstein.

Since 2021, Yuna Dierstein has been a permanent member of the Baden-Württemberg State Youth Baroque Orchestra (LJBO), and since 2023, a member of the German National Youth Orchestra (BJO).

Israeli pianist Noa Kapelyushnik, born in 2004, is currently studying with Prof. Eldar Nebolsin at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin.

Her concert appearances have already taken her to Austria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Russia, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, and the United States. In addition, she can be heard regularly on the Israeli classical radio station Kol HaMusica.

As a soloist, she has performed with numerous national and international orchestras, including the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia, the Symphonic Ukrainian Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, and the Alicante University Symphonic Orchestra.
