The Berlin spa concerts at Weißensee are back!

They’re prescribing a second dose of relaxation amidst the park, the lake, and the stage. Naturally, this includes the serving of mineral-rich "spa water" (both still and sparkling) and musical "treatments" featuring a choir, a live band, children's dance theater, and a DJ.

So, hop on your bikes, pack your picnic baskets, and head to the "Kurpark Weißensee" and its intimate courtyard stage! Admission is free, though a small "spa tax" contribution is requested.

Program:

2:30 PM PopKoro Choir

3:15 PM Dance Theater Collective OOPSALA with their new piece "Im Wal" (In the Whale)

4:00 PM Der Singende Tresen

5:30 PM Onom Agemo & the Disco Jumpers

DJ sets by Captain of None

The day kicks off with the brand-new PopKoro Choir from Berlin. Led by pianist Cem Dinler, this vocal ensemble specializes in 1970s *Türkçe Pop* (Turkish pop music) but is gradually expanding its repertoire to include other eras and languages.

For younger guests (ages 4 and up), the dance theater collective OOPSALA presents its new piece, "IM WAL" (In the Whale). The performance addresses the issue of ocean pollution: through imaginative choreography, the three dancers transport the audience into a beautiful underwater world and right into the belly of a whale. Through games and improvisation, the audience is invited to become part of the performance itself.

The Berlin-based band Der Singende Tresen performs a unique blend of chanson, punk, and jazz, featuring poetic and satirical lyrics that steer clear of clichés. Lead singer Manja Präkels executes a constantly surprising balancing act—shifting between 1920s cabaret style and powerful blues vocals, and between clownish charm and delicate melancholy. Here, the band presents a program featuring songs and texts by Erich Mühsam.

Next, led by the restless saxophonist Johannes Schleiermacher, Onom Agemo & the Disco Jumpers will perform their blend of explosive jazz improvisations, unconventional Krautrock, spirited keyboard sounds, and psychedelia.

DJ Captain of None moves effortlessly between ambient, dub, leftfield, electronica, and gently pulsating grooves.
