Public Tour: Sun., Aug. 23, 2026 | 12:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m.

Today we’ll be looking at the stories of native plants in mythology and fairy tales.

Before the advent of modern botany, plants were important mythological allies of humans. They watched over villages, possessed healing properties, or were home to tree spirits.

This guided tour highlights key examples from local nature and takes you through the outdoor areas of the Botanical Garden to explore their biological and historical traces.

On this Sunday tour, you’ll experience the unique grounds on a walk through the outdoor areas—or in the greenhouses if it rains. Discover the seasonal highlights!
