With “You Are Here Since You Left,” Margarita Wenzel has created a site-specific installation for the Historischer Keller.
The starting point is not the history of the vaulted cellar, but rather an everyday yet fundamental process: the human impulse to interpret traces, establish connections, and ascribe meaning to spaces. The exhibition views the Historischer Keller not as a repository of memory, but as a resonant space for our perception.
