Family Sunday

The museums invite you to enjoy a varied day in the historic Nikolaiviertel! You can look forward to lots of discoveries, hands-on activities, and surprises for all ages. Look forward to the interactive circus, a family concert, creative crafts, colorful face painting, and relaxing moments at the Picnic Mobile. Just stop by and join in the fun!

Picnic Truck: At the steps leading up to the Ephraim Palace, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., you’ll find coffee, soda, cake, and a spot where you can take a break with the snacks and drinks you’ve brought along.

Object of the Month

Historic temperature gauge from the Sports and Recreation Center (SEZ) in Friedrichshain: This original artifact from the building, which is threatened with demolition, tells a piece of East Berlin’s history.

Checkmate – Berlin Plays!

Outside the museum, it’s all about chess. Whether at a table or on the large outdoor chessboard: Just jump right in and challenge each other! Members of the SC Borussia Lichtenberg e.V. club are on hand to offer advice and assistance.
