The starting point is a collection of short stories from *Urubus* by Brazilian author Carla Bessa and the character Aparecida, whose life is inscribed in the unassuming details of everyday life.
An apple becomes a repository of anger, longing, and forty years of unspoken memories. Through voice, sound, video, and movement, a landscape emerges in which the repressed slowly rises to the surface.
Field recordings from Brazil and the sounds of aged apples intertwine with a physical performance to form a poetic exploration of how emotions live on in objects—and when they begin to break free.
