Vladimir Mogilevsky | Frédéric Chopin Gala

The multi-award-winning concert pianist has been honored at numerous international festivals and competitions, including the prize for the best interpretation of a Beethoven sonata in Portugal, the Grand Prix for a duo recital with Vadim Repin in North Macedonia, and the International Music Prize “For Outstanding Achievements in the Art of Music” in Berlin.

His concert tours have taken him to nearly every European country, as well as to Israel, Turkey, China, Mexico, and South Africa. In Germany, Vladimir Mogilevsky regularly performs on the most prestigious concert stages and has given more than 100 concerts at the Berlin Philharmonic and the Konzerthaus Berlin alone.

A distinctive hallmark of his career is the performance and recording of works on original historical instruments, including pianos once owned by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Franz Liszt. In addition to his international concert activities, he gives master classes worldwide and serves as a jury member at renowned music competitions.

In addition to classical music, his great passion is jazz. Vladimir Mogilevsky composes and improvises regularly and was highly regarded by the legendary Oscar Peterson, who had several of his works added to the archives of the National Library of Canada. Furthermore, at the request of Oscar-winning director Michel Morales Escobar, the music film “A Dream in Venice” was produced, in which Mogilevsky performs Franz Liszt’s famous “Liebestraum.”
