When it comes to trying to part ways with one’s significant other in a way that is profitable or otherwise advantageous, there are significant differences between the sexes.

Men murder spontaneously, impulsively, often clumsily, and rarely with care. Mistakes are therefore almost inevitable. The result is what counts.

Women care about details. Making the day of death something special and presenting the death in a way that’s finely tuned to the specific situation requires careful planning.

Both face the same problem: How do you pull off the perfect murder?

If there were a demand for guidebooks on final relationship management, Stephan Hähnel could write them. Titles like: Murder for Beginners! Killing Someone, Made Easy! Proper Killing for Dummies! - would all be bestsellers. Since the law prohibits such “death aids” under threat of punishment, those interested have no choice but to draw inspiration from the murderous breakup efforts of his fictional protagonists.

Even if you’re (still) happy with your significant other, remember: a little education never hurts.

An entertaining reading for anyone who wants to shape their own life and needs some inspiration. Or just for fun!
