Levi Penell is one of the most exciting young voices on the German social media scene. In no time at all, the Berlin student has built a strong community with his unique sense of humor, sharp observations, and a mix of irony, madness, and real talk.

Levi himself describes his place in life as “somewhere between irony and madness,” from which he reflects on the things that really matter. From Greenland’s efforts to form its own national soccer team to the most outrageous pet names—or when he exposes pyramid schemes—Levi has a strong opinion on many topics and isn’t afraid to share them head-on with the camera. He constantly shifts between biting sarcasm and no-nonsense real talk, creating a character all his own whose brand of humor strikes a chord with his community. This sometimes takes on grotesque proportions, such as when Levi convinces numerous users to vacuum their living room ceilings to get rid of the “white light mite”—a legendary creature from the depths of his imagination. Above all, however, it shows that Levi has figured out how to reach people with his style and content and stand out from the vast social media crowd.
