Tag im Grünen 2026
For the fifth time, the Kulturforum Berlin is transforming into a grand stage for the summer festival “A Day in the Green.” This year, the focus is on architecture—in keeping with Open Monument Day, which also takes place on this date.

The buildings of the Kulturforum—themselves outstanding examples of modern architecture and, in some cases, designated historic landmarks—will host a varied program from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., featuring guided tours, workshops, lectures, exhibitions, a church service, and other activities.
On Scharounplatz, Berlin’s longest banquet table invites visitors throughout the day to take a seat, listen to music, and enjoy culinary delights. At the Philharmonie, there will be several guided tours: our popular family tour “Our Ship of Sound” as well as architectural tours.
At Scharounplatz, members of the Berlin Philharmonic and the Karajan Academy will perform a surprise program on Berlin’s most sustainable stage—the VeloStage.
