Sky Sounds mit KafaNar
KafaNar is a solo performance by multi-instrumentalist Deniz Mahir Kartal. Originally from Istanbul and now based in Berlin, he builds an aesthetic musical bridge between the Bosphorus and the Spree.
Through the seamless integration of rare instruments such as the kaval, duduk, and çağlama, along with vocals rooted in Anatolian traditions, he creates a cross-cultural tapestry of sound that takes the audience on a rhythmic journey, engaging both the imagination and the body. With KafaNar—an exciting blend of traditional melodies with modern loops and rhythms—Deniz Mahir Kartal invites the audience to discover cultural resonance where tradition and artistic innovation meet in perfect harmony.
