Summer is the perfect time to enjoy culture under the open sky. Together with Theatergasse für Alle, the Stiftung Stadtkultur is therefore organizing a small open-air series this year called “KAHO im Kiez,” which will take place, among other venues, in the outdoor area of the Museum Berlin-Karlshorst.
The band Jive Company plays swing, jump & jive, and boogie from the 1950s and 1960s. Their repertoire includes songs by Louis Prima, Louis Jordan, Peggy Lee, Ruth Brown, and other artists. Two singers and eight musicians present the program with a sound reminiscent of a big band.
Admission is free.
Seating is limited. Feel free to bring your own blanket or folding chair.
No advance registration is required.
