In the fissures between the past and the present, between the GDR and the Federal Republic, Splitter searches for personal stories—windows into a time we often know only through fragments, mosaics of everyday moments, decisions, and memories of a country that no longer exists.
The ensemble’s production traces these memories, explores their significance for the present, and tells the story of the search for one’s own place in the world.
