Twelve dancers from the Ballet national de Marseille embody the tensions of the present and showcase dance as a form of resistance and change. In a world shaken by crises, (LA)HORDE’s new work attempts to open up new spaces of imagination so that, together, we can defeat the inner and societal monsters of our time.

Twelve dancers from the Ballet national de Marseille—which the collective has led since 2019—embody the contradictory forces of our time. “Après moi, le déluge” combines hyperrealism, poetry, and the grotesque, continuing (LA)HORDE’s exploration of dance as a means of overcoming imposed narratives. The result is a choreography marked by revolt that explosively shakes the foundations of the old world.
