Eastern European klezmer, swing, Yiddish cabaret, Oriental pop, and the finest jazz—there’s something for every taste.
The members of the Ginzburg family are trained professional musicians in the sixth generation. Their klezmer repertoire is passed down, expanded, and perfected from generation to generation. They are multi-instrumentalists and carry a long tradition with them: Their family dynasty has its origins in Dnipro, Ukraine, and as early as the 19th century, the family was known far beyond the region. For example, it was considered a special honor when the Ginzburg Ensemble played at a wedding.
After 150 years of musical travels across four continents, the Ginzburg dynasty is now “back to its roots”: The family lives in Berlin and passionately carries on its long tradition as Europe’s only professional klezmer dynasty.
