Sonic.art
The sonic.art Saxophone Quartet is a chamber music ensemble with an international flair, as its members hail from Australia, Belarus, Japan, and Thuringia and have studied in Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, and London. The four saxophonists came together in 2005 and have since developed their very own style.

On the first weekend of Advent, they will perform special Christmas pieces from their rich repertoire, including excerpts from J. S. Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and P. I. Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker. The program will also feature J. Brahms’s “Hungarian Dances” and selected works by Bernstein, which create entirely new sonic experiences on these instruments.
With plenty of charm and subtlety, as well as a pleasant stage presence, sonic.art has rightfully earned a reputation as a top-tier ensemble.
