Berlin Festival Orchestra

For 25 years, the Festival Orchester Berlin—a multicultural ensemble of musicians from leading European orchestras—has been delighting audiences with its repertoire of Baroque, Viennese Classical, and Romantic music, complemented by musical rarities.

The orchestra plays on period Italian instruments, ensuring a sound of exceptional beauty.

The ensemble includes several “Bach enthusiasts” who will present Bach’s most beautiful works in this New Year’s Eve concert.

With vitality and musical wit, the program also features pieces by Pachelbel and Grieg, as well as Mozart’s Salzburg Symphonies. In the second half, the orchestra rings in the end of the year with Antonio Vivaldi’s “Winter” from The Four Seasons.
