Using the Thealingua method, learning German becomes a lively stage experience: Participants develop their expressiveness, self-confidence, and enjoyment of the German language—not just at a desk, but through play, movement, and on stage.
About the Play
Konrad loves order and rules. That’s why one thing in particular drives him up the wall:
Despite the ban, Ms. Müller feeds the pigeons in the park every day. For Konrad, one thing is clear: This can’t go on!
But when he learns that Ms. Müller is a member of a pigeon club, he hatches a plan: To stop the club from the inside, he joins it himself.
Amid heated discussions, eccentric club members, and surprising encounters, however, the question soon arises: Do rules really always make sense—or are there situations where humanity is more important? And will Konrad achieve his goal?
“Auf die Bühne!” — Practice German with Thealingua
The “Auf die Bühne!” workshops are designed for people who want to not only learn German but also experience it firsthand. The sessions are conducted entirely in German and are aimed specifically at people whose native language is not German.
No prior theater experience is necessary—all you need is the desire to try your hand at acting on stage, perform together, and have fun. However, an A2 level of German is required to actively participate and benefit from the workshop
.
Through playful exercises, improvisations, and scenic explorations, a creative space is created in which every participant can express themselves, experiment, and
supportive environment.
A collective and creative project
The goal of the workshop is to develop a genuine ensemble spirit. The stage becomes a place of encounter, learning, and shared artistic experience.
The workshop concludes with the collaborative creation of a performance—as the creative outcome of the ideas, contributions, and forms of expression of all participants.
