Chrysanthi Badeka / MOZ

This multimedia dance performance combines choreographic, audiovisual, and digital elements. Through a series of kinetic episodes, the work explores the effects of sound, light, space, and movement on human perception and emotion.

At its core is the interplay between destruction and regeneration, as well as the relationship between the body, nature, and technological systems.

By combining choreography, programming, and virtual reality, “Terras” examines the algorithm as movement and integrates computer-assisted processes into contemporary dance. Through VR, algorithmic visualization, and 3D projection, the piece creates fragmented yet interconnected spatial experiences that generate an immersive, sensory perception.

The piece opens up a space between physical and virtual reality, in which light and sound—as material and immaterial forces—activate the body as both transmitter and receiver. This creates a synesthetic, multi-layered experience that connects people with the cosmos and nature.
