The “LA PALABRE Space” accompanies the program of UNEXPECTED LESSONS – Knowledges of the Body and Sound. It is a successful format of the artistic research project TALKING OBJECTS LAB.

UNEXPECTED LESSON 2: LA PALABRE Space 1
“LA PALABRE” refers to the social practice of public discourse, gathering, and collective conflict resolution, as found in many countries across the African continent.
The themes of each edition of “UNEXPECTED LESSONS” are explored and discussed through conversations, artistic interventions, and readings. Guests are invited to spend time in the “LA PALABRE Space,” to pause, listen, participate, browse the library, drink tea, or simply linger.
