As a young adult, Eva zu Beck left behind her seemingly perfect but unfulfilling life and bought a one-way ticket to Nepal, where she sought freedom and adventure. She found both on a Himalayan trekking tour, despite having no experience or equipment. It marked the beginning of what has since become a career as an adventurer spanning several years.

(reading in German)

Barefoot in the desert, on horseback in Mongolia, and alone on road trips, she has learned that the world belongs to the brave—not the daredevils, but those who follow their hearts to find the wildest, freest, and most vibrant version of themselves.

Eva zu Beck, born in Poland in 1991 and raised in Poland and England, studied German and French at the University of Oxford. With 4 million followers, she is one of the world’s biggest adventure YouTubers. She is known for her extraordinarily adventurous travel ideas, her courage, and her authentic storytelling. With her dog Vilk and her Land Rover Odyssey, she has undertaken solo overland expeditions in North America. The extreme athlete has completed the 250-kilometer Gobi March Ultramarathon (July 2024) as well as the Lapland Arctic Ultra (500 kilometers, March 2025). In addition to her work on YouTube and Instagram, Eva zu Beck is the host and director of her own National Geographic show, “Superskilled.”

“The Wilder Way” will be published on October 2, 2026, by Malik Verlag, 336 pages.
