About the novel:
Iggy wants to become a filmmaker, but he hasn’t managed to get into film school yet. Masha loses herself in the maze of online dating while juggling her medical studies. Then the two meet by chance—on a stranded ICE train.
Since Masha and Iggy are constantly broke, they pass off shabby furniture as antiques to a mansion owner, steal from a church using a fake QR code, and travel from Vienna to Italy with a stolen piece of cheese. Love story or endless situational relationship?
Caspar Maria Russo (*1994) lives in Vienna, grew up in Hamburg, and studied German and Comparative Literature in Freiburg and Vienna. He is an author and narrator and also directs plays.
