The performance spirals through a surreal dreamscape of wage labor, weaving together mascot work, drag, clowning, magic, and pole dancing—with each new job flowing seamlessly into the next.
*Did4Luv* stages work as spectacle and spectacle as work, asking what forms of visibility and desire the systems of the working world and the entertainment industry extract from marginalized bodies. The piece explores the cost of constant reinvention and reveals the psychological wear and tear that comes with the constant pressure to entertain, sell, and survive.
