The Planetarium Berlin Foundation is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. On July 4, it would like to celebrate this milestone with you under the theme “A Quick Trip to the Cosmos.”

At the Zeiss Großplanetarium in Prenzlauer Berg and the Archenhold Observatory in Treptower Park, a diverse program of short presentations and stargazing sessions awaits you. Tickets for the Archenhold Observatory are available on-site; events at the Zeiss Großplanetarium can also be booked online in advance.

Tour Through the Universe – Live Commentary

The short program “Tour Through the Universe” begins with a spectacular rocket launch right outside the gates of the Planetarium Berlin Foundation and takes you out into the vastness of space. Stars, planets, moons, and many other celestial objects aren’t just to be marveled at from Earth—together, you’ll travel to some of these fascinating destinations and view them up close. The tour takes you through the solar system and on to impressive locations within the Milky Way. Finally, accompanied by music, you’ll travel through the most beautiful nebulae in the universe and marvel at the diverse wonders of our cosmic neighborhood.

Note on ticket purchase: Tickets for the Archenhold Observatory are only available on-site on the day of the event. Tickets for the Zeiss Grand Planetarium can be purchased in advance online or at the box office on the day of the event.
