Conservation of Sudanese Archaeological Heritage: Experiences, Realities & Perspectives
Drawing on many years of experience, the event will address current challenges and prospects for the protection of cultural heritage in Sudan through a series of lectures and a panel discussion.
The colloquium is organized by Humboldt University of Berlin (Institute of Archaeology, AKNOA), the Sudan Archaeological Society of Berlin (SAG) e.V., the Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection (ÄMP-SMB), the University of Applied Sciences (HTW, Conservation & Restoration), and the German Archaeological Institute (DAI), in close cooperation with Sudanese partners.
The conference will be held in English.
Participation is free of charge. No registration required.
All lectures will take place in Room 2091 of the main building of Humboldt University of Berlin, Unter den Linden 6, 10117 Berlin, and will be streamed online.
