Countertenor and breakdancer: Jakub Józef Orliński, celebrated for his voice that is as lyrical as it is expressive, is at home in a variety of worlds. This is also reflected in the program of this concert with mezzo-soprano Madison Nonoa and the ensemble Il pomo d’oro. It spans a range from the early Baroque to the present day.

What unites these works is their unique atmosphere—spiritual, meditative, and melancholic. A highlight is Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater with its ethereally beautiful solo vocals.
