In this free creative workshop, children and adults can design their own story of space.

The exhibition “A Change of Scenery – On Mobility and Furniture Since 1960” shows how people on the move design their spaces—with furniture, patterns, mementos, and improvised solutions. This interior design workshop builds on that theme.

On “Sunday in the Nikolaiviertel,” families with children ages 3 and up can design miniature living spaces.

Fabrics, photos, found objects, and materials bearing visible traces of time are transformed into personal stories of space. The workshop invites participants to playfully experiment with new ways of being at home and to let their own ideas take shape—creatively, colorfully, and imaginatively. An artist will provide expert guidance throughout.

  • Continuously from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
