It is no wonder that over the course of thousands of years, the most beautiful and profound sacred texts have been composed for this feast. sirventes berlin performs them as a Gregorian chant and in a virtuosic, lively motet by William Byrd.

NoonSong—what is it?
Every Saturday at noon, locals, visitors to Berlin, music fans, and architecture enthusiasts gather for NoonSong. It is both a concert and a church service, developed from the Anglican Evensong. Eight professional singers from the vocal ensemble sirventes berlin perform choral music under the direction of Stefan Schuck. The repertoire ranges from Renaissance music to contemporary compositions.
