NEXT GENERATION – A Children's Day Full of Experiments and Adventures

Through its junior program, NEXT GENERATION, Young Euro Classic has been actively promoting early musical education since 2019: age-appropriate and playful formats introduce even the youngest children to the world of music.

The program for this year’s Children’s Day on August 9, 2026, appeals to a spirit of experimentation and a thirst for adventure.

  • Suli Puschban & the Band of Good Hope will rock the stage and invite children ages 5 and up to rock out.
  • “Mice on the Moon” is a musical space journey by singer and percussionist Ravi Srinivasan for children ages 3 and up, featuring dancing, clapping, and drumming.
  • At the Blockbox music studio, curious children ages 5 and up can experience what it’s like to play in a band and record their own song.
  • And the Klingende Museum offers workshops where children ages 3 and up can try out various musical instruments.
  • Vocal Heroes Sing-Along

Vocal Heroes Sing-Along

Program:

Now it’s time to use your voice! At two performances by the Vocal Heroes at 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., you can sing well-known songs and new tunes together with other children on the Gendarmenmarkt, right in front of the steps of the Konzerthaus Berlin. Whether loud or soft, high or low, gentle or powerful—every voice is welcome here! Come on by, bring your friends and family, and experience music that’s truly fun. Both Vokalhelden concerts are free and open to everyone in attendance, even without a ticket for the NEXT GENERATION Children’s Day.
