On September 13, 2026, the Berlin Titscher Masters will take place at the Freischwimmer in Berlin-Kreuzberg. This open stone-skimming competition brings participants and spectators right to the water’s edge, allowing them to experience the sport in an urban setting.

Around 100 participants will compete in the categories of children, adults (women and men), and teams. Several throws are allowed per round, and the farthest valid throw, measured by an on-site jury, will be scored.
The best stone skimmers are determined through preliminary rounds, semifinals, and finals. Who will become the German champion—and who will secure the title of international champion? The event combines athletic competition with an accessible yet unusual format.
The winners of the main categories qualify to compete in the World Stone Skimming Championship in Scotland.
