Germany’s most-booked Pride act kicks off BKA Pride Month: A safe space with a pop twist!

MKSM—singer, songwriter, violinist, and activist with Russian-Ukrainian roots—looks back on a special year in 2025: his biggest Pride tour to date, performances on Deutschlandfunk Kultur and at the Hamburg State Opera, as well as his appointment as the first ambassador for the Federal Association for Stuttering and Self-Help.

For his ACOUSTIC CONCERT at the BKA Theater, the artist brings the songs from his first German-language EP—a touching mix of acoustic pop, delicate arrangements, and personal stories from the queer ethnic German returnee.

A PRIDE MONTH opening carried by gripping lyrics and accompanied by violin, grand piano, and guitar.

Come as you are—HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!

Special Guest: IUMA is a pop artist from Karlsruhe who now lives in Berlin and is known for her honest, humorous, and socially conscious songs about vulnerability, relationships, and mental health. Her debut EP “genug” was released in 2023 and earned her radio airplay, interviews, and live performances at the Reeperbahn Festival and on TV Noir.

Following sold-out headline shows and her first solo tour in 2024, the songwriter is releasing her “3 Balladen EP” this year.
