Fräulein Luise: The songs of the young Zurich band Fräulein Luise thrive on telling various stories in which they address both relevant social issues and their own experiences. That’s why they write their lyrics mainly in German and in dialect. While the strength of their lyrics often lies in their simple directness, the music—even though it primarily falls within the indie pop/alternative genre—is a wild mix of different genres, from indie, rock to pop and everything in between. Despite various influences, Fräulein Luise is easily recognizable by their unique sound, which is characterized above all by particularly melodic basslines and two-part harmonies. In addition to numerous concerts in Switzerland, the Zurich-based band has had the opportunity to open for various pop greats—such as Wanda, Von Wegen Lisbeth, and Steiner & Madlaina. Following another round of opening acts for the well-known indie bands Wanda and Ok.Danke.Tschüss in the spring of 2024, the band is now working on their debut album. It is set to be released in the summer of 2026 in collaboration with producer Sebastian Adam.

Andrea Tichy

Anger can be quiet, soft voices loud, and not everything that makes you sad is bad. In her first releases, Andrea Tichy sings about her own contradictions and the omnipotence of emotions. The indie-pop artist draws inspiration from experimental folk soundscapes à la The Japanese House and catchy melodies reminiscent of acts like Holly Humberstone. Her music sits somewhere between glitch folk and indie pop—acoustic guitars and playful arpeggiators. Organic and electronic elements complement each other seamlessly, creating a folk-inspired intimacy with a modern twist—distorted natural spectacles and human connections—authenticity within the context of a postmodern world. Andrea is currently working on her debut EP “How The Fck Does Water Sound?”, a declaration of love for folk music, pop anthems, and radical oversharing.
