As street musicians, Sebastian Maul, Philippe Polyák, and Konstantin Chiddi made a name for themselves starting in 2005, first in Dresden and later throughout Germany, by performing their own rock music using only the cello, violin, drums, and vocals.

This exciting mix helped Stilbruch reach the finals of the Pro7 show “Germany’s Next Showstars” in 2009 and, a year later, serve as the opening act for Swiss artist DJ Bobo’s European tour.
Concerts with symphony orchestras such as the Elbland Philharmonic Saxony or the North Bohemian Philharmonic Teplice followed, putting Stilbruch on the map at Germany’s major concert venues.
Furthermore, Stilbruch could be seen as the opening act for big names such as Dieter “Maschine” Birr, Max Giesinger, and ELAIZA.
