Radio play evening at Charlottenburg Palace
To mark the 250th anniversary of her birth, we trace the footsteps of the famous queen in a radio play—at one of her residences, the New Wing of Charlottenburg Palace.

Following the presentation of the rbb production in the ballroom, Ruth Johanna Benrath (author) and Christine Nagel (co-author and director) will speak with Juliane Schmidt (editor at rbb) about the content and the creation of the work.
Afterward, guests can tour the queen’s living quarters in an evening atmosphere. No other member of the Prussian dynasty is revered to this day as much as Queen Luise of Prussia. For some, it is her much-described approachability and the naturalness of her demeanor; for others, it is her courageous presence on the stage of European politics. Based on letters and contemporary accounts, the radio play explores the various facets of her short life.
