SCOTT & LILA and friends

SCOTT & LILA are an indie-folk duo from Berlin, comprised of songwriters Scott Hildebrand from Chicago and Lila Despoix from Paris. The duo met in 2019 while Scott was busking, having just moved to Berlin. Lila spontaneously joined him at the microphone, and over the following years, they wrote and recorded music together while on their "endless world tour."

In 2014, they released their debut EP, featuring 17 songs written and recorded in Sri Lanka, South Korea, the USA, and their creative home of Berlin. Following this initial release, they toured extensively throughout Europe and Asia, and their songs received airplay on national television and radio programs.

This June, they'll release their new 6-song EP and play an open-air summer concert with a full band.

These songs reflect their diverse songwriting, characterized by harmonious vocal harmonies—brought to life by their deep connection to each other and to the streets of the world. The recordings were largely live, with drums, bass, guitar, and vocals recorded simultaneously to preserve the authenticity of the music—music that speaks of truth, self-discovery, and love.
