Angelika Platen's first photographs were taken as early as the 1960s, when the art world was still dominated by men. Angelika Platen expanded her view in color and digital form, always in harmony with her work, with the growing importance of the female part in her artistic work.

Under the title "Femmes, qui êtes vous?", the exhibition continues Angelika Platen's contribution to this year's festival "Les Rencontres de la Photographie" in the southern French city of Arles. At the same time, further paintings by Angelika Platen will be exhibited in the Galerie Michael Schultz under the motto "indescribably feminine" from 8 October to 3 November 2018.
