The Berlin District Office Pankow, Der Tagesspiegel and THEATER AN DER PARKAUE invite you to a performance, reading and music with speeches, slogans and songs of the Peaceful Revolution in November 1989.
On November 4, 1989, the largest registered but not state-controlled demonstration in the history of the GDR against state violence and for freedom of opinion and assembly took place on Alexanderplatz in Berlin.
The purpose of the event is to commemorate the speeches, slogans and songs of the Peaceful Revolution of November 1989. Selected speeches and slogans of the Alexanderplatz demonstration and other rallies and songs of the Wendezeit will be the focus.
