Four days of fun, celebration, and bidding farewell to summer
Under the motto “Winemakers. Wines. Culinary Delights,” the market square will be transformed into an atmospheric open-air wine garden for four days. Numerous winemakers—many of them from Rhineland-Palatinate—will personally pour their wines and invite visitors to discover new favorite wines, chat with the producers, and enjoy the diversity of wine culture in a relaxed atmosphere.
Carl-Schurz-Straße will also become a gathering place for food and wine lovers. There, numerous food trucks will treat guests to specialties from around the world—from hearty dishes to sweet delicacies. The offerings are complemented by cocktails, non-alcoholic refreshments, freshly tapped beer, and many other treats.
Whether with family, friends, or coworkers—the Old Town Festival offers the ideal setting for feasting, strolling, and enjoying each other’s company.
Musical highlights will be provided on all four days of the event by a varied stage program on the Marktplatz and Werner-Salomon-Platz.
Rock fans can look forward to the high-energy AC/DC tribute band BON on Friday. On Saturday, Die Kassenpatienten will bring a festival atmosphere to Spandau with the biggest hits by Die Ärzte, before Ulli und die grauen Zellen bring the musical festivities to a close on Sunday. DJs and other live bands playing well-known pop and rock classics round out the program, creating the perfect setting for long summer evenings filled with music and good cheer.
A key focus is on sustainability: As with all events organized by Partner für Spandau, only reusable tableware will be used. Thanks to excellent public transportation connections, the festival is also easy and eco-friendly to reach.
