Traditional bus Berlin

In their spare time, they restore, maintain and drive historic buses – purely out of passion. Because they believe that Berlin's transport history does not belong in a museum, but on the road!

As the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Traditionsbus Berlin (Berlin Traditional Bus Working Group), they regularly offer special trips on historic buses to give Berliners and visitors to our city a lively insight into times gone by.

They will open the 2026 season on 29 March with a tour on the former line 16. This route connected everyday life in Berlin and at the same time led through a Berlin that was reinventing itself after the war. Passengers can expect not only a ride in a vintage bus, but also exciting stories and anecdotes about the development of this line and the surrounding area.
