A performance by Nicole Berndt-Caccivio's Dance On Labs
In AMOURUOMA, the performers with life experience explore their emotional memories that connect them to love, infatuation, breakups, jealousy and all the other facets that emerge. Images emerge from the pieces of the puzzle, which are expressed and performed through the body, dance and perhaps the voice. A feeling like "butterflies in your stomach" might give rise to a fulminant, improvised solo. A condition like "hurt and left alone" may lead to a group choreography.
